People always ask us, what can they do with our sauces in the winter months? and our answer is always, “what can’t you make!?” Our sauces are so versatile that they can be used in many different ways to enhance all of your meals. Yes, even in the long New England Winter months!! We have a ton of recipes that play right into a slow cooker meal plan, quick, easy set it and forget it recipes.
Take for instance, our Saweet Heat Bbq sauce. Throw that into the slow cooker with some chicken thighs and/or legs, then 6 hours later you’ve got juicy BBQ Chicken. We have a fan favorite Wicked Honey Mustard meatloaf that is great anytime of year, but especially nice with some roasted potatoes and carrots on a cold night. One of the recipes we are loving right now is our Chicken stew using our GOSH bbq sauce, with some sweet potatoes, carrot and yukon gold potatoes and of course some fresh herbs like rosemary and thyme. Oh wait… did I forget to mention, Coffee Madness Scallops wrapped in Bacon… that one is a real crowd pleaser in the appetizer department. As well as personal favorites of ours. Did someone say New England themed Super Bowl Party..? I think these scallops are the perfect option.
We also love our sauces as the base for homemade pizza night!! Saweet Heat bbq meatball pizza with mozzarella, GOSH chicken pizza with goat cheese and arugula, Coffee Madness steak pizza with smoked Gouda cheese… the possibilities are endless. So ya, when people ask us what they can use the sauce for in the winter, we always say, “what can’t you!!!?”
